How Peer Counseling Works

Sometimes what helps most is talking to someone who will simply listen. Here is what our peer counseling sessions actually look like.

Verity Staff · April 2026

Peer counseling is one of our most requested and least understood services. Unlike a clinical appointment, there is no exam and no paperwork. It is one-on-one time with a trained advocate who is there to listen.

Sessions are confidential, unscheduled in length, and available to anyone connected to a pregnancy decision, whether that decision was made recently or years ago.

If you think peer counseling might help, call us and ask for a session. There is no waitlist and no cost.

Scheduling ahead means a guaranteed time and a shorter wait. Can’t plan ahead? Walk in during clinic hours.
