Our Story

Built by this community. No cost to every woman in it.

Verity Pregnancy & Medical Resource Center opened its doors in Fort Myers in 1987, originally under the name of Precious Life Ministries. In 2000, we changed our name to Lee Women’s Center. Later, we merged with 1st Choice Pregnancy Center and converted to a medical model in 2010 under the name Verity. We’ve offered no-cost, confidential pregnancy testing, ultrasound, and support services to women across Lee County, regardless of background, decision, or circumstance.

We are a nonprofit organization staffed by medical professionals and trained advocates. We are not a government agency and our services are provided at no cost because of the generosity of our community and in partnership with Florida’s Pregnancy Care Network.

This work is about making sure no woman has to face an unplanned pregnancy in isolation. We provide information, support, medical care and resources to women in Lee County who are experiencing an unexpected pregnancy - you are not alone.

Crystal

Executive Director

As Executive Director of Verity Pregnancy and Medical Resource Center, Crystal Hamilton leads with a heart for connection and service. Joining Verity in July 2025 after decades of ministry alongside her husband, she brings a lifelong dedication to uplifting vulnerable local populations. Crystal is passionate about building strong community partnerships and inspiring neighbors to join hands in Verity’s mission—providing compassionate care, truthful guidance, and holistic support to every woman and man who walks through our doors navigating an unplanned pregnancy.

    Clinic Director

    April is a Registered Nurse who serves as our Clinic Director. With over a decade of experience in pregnancy help work, she oversees comprehensive patient care from the initial pregnancy test through the ultrasound. April is deeply committed to ensuring that every patient receives accurate information and compassionate, holistic care.

    RN

    Yvette, as a part of our nursing staff, brings over 15 years of experience to our center. She provides thoughtful, compassionate, professional care to every client visit — whether for a pregnancy test, an ultrasound, or addressing concerns.

  • Aspen

    Receptionist

    Aspen is generally the first person to answer the phone or who you meet when you walk through our doors — here to make sure every visit starts with a warm welcome. She helps with the daily opperations of our client services department and education program.

    Client Advocate

    Gina serves as a Client Advocate, bringing a lifelong heart for people to her role. Having spent years caring for individuals and families alongside her husband, she brings a deep sense of empathy and listening to every appointment. Gina cares deeply about empowering women to make fully informed choices, taking the time to listen carefully and provide thoughtful, truthful guidance as they navigate important decisions.
